In short:

A poster, by an Adelaide artist who tackles the topic of national identity, has been defaced with white supremacist messaging.

The Minister for Multicultural Affairs says the message is "offensive and disappointing".

The artist has since replaced the poster, on the outskirts of the Adelaide CBD, with new artwork.
