The ABC supports current and prospective employees by ensuring an inclusive workplace culture where everyone feels respected and valued and was recognised with the Platinum Award from the Australian Workplace Equality Index AWEI in 2025. The ABC participates annually in LGBTQIA+ events across Australia including the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade and Fair Day, Brisbane Pride March and Melbourne Midsumma festival.
