Ukraine says it is ready to pull troops back from areas of the contested Donbas region and turn them into a demilitarised zone, as part of a possible peace deal with Russia.

It's the first time President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has publicly signalled a willingness to consider territorial negotiations since the full-scale invasion began.
