NSW parliament likely to pass Australia's toughest gun laws, crackdown on protests

In short:

NSW parliament will fast-track tougher laws on gun ownership and protest activity. 

Under the proposed legislation individual gun owners would be limited to four firearms, while primary producers would be allowed 10 firearms. 

Opposition Leader Kellie Sloane described the bill as "rushed" but has announced bipartisan support, however the Nationals have in signalled they will oppose the proposed changes.
