Labor has rejected calls for a royal commission into the terror attack on Sydney's Jewish community, arguing all resources need to go towards the investigation and keeping people safe.

The Coalition has heaped pressure on the government to take further action, days after 15 people were killed at a Hanukkah celebration on Bondi Beach.
