In short:

A Kaurna program in Adelaide's McLaren Vale wine region is giving Indigenous students confidence and a greater connection to their culture, teachers and students say.

The Tikkandi Program, which started two years ago, immerses the students in Kaurna language, culture and stories alongside caring for country.

What's next?

The program will begin again when school resumes next year.
