Threat eases from Stieglitz bushfire near St Helens on Tasmania's east coast

Stieglitz residents on Tasmania's east coast will likely be let back in and out of the community after a bushfire emergency.

Authorities have reopened access to residents of Parkside, Parnella, Stieglitz, Akoroa and surrounds, but caution that "if you choose to return to your home, continue to stay alert and monitor your surroundings for changes in fire conditions".
