How did you get started in music?
When I was 12, I first listened to the Ministry of Sound.I heard the annual and I was just like, what is this type of music? This music is just… it blew my mind. So I started DJing when I was 12 years old and did a DJ course in the city. I bought my own deck, started doing house parties, and then I won a competition when I was like 14 or 13 years old to DJ at this underage festival on the main stage called Good Life.
I picked up producing music around 15, 16… it was really bad though. My first song was called Hubba Baba. It started really taking off when I moved to Europe when I was 18, and then that's when I started touring properly and really getting the DJ support.
What's one song of yours that always goes off live?
I'll say two because one is an edit of, I did an edit of a classic song. Ninetoes - Finder, WILL K x Route 94 Edit.Every single time I play that edit, shit will go crazy and I'l say lick it goes pretty hard to be fair. The second drop on lick it, the energy, the build!
Who's your dream collaborator?
Skrillex! You have to manifest that shit. I would love to collab with him. He's just insane. I feel like when we have our collab, it's gonna be crazy and I'm just gonna look back and be like, whoa, I did it.
What's something your fans might not know about you?
When I'm not making music. I love to go fishing. I love fishing. Fishing for me is like my serenity, where I'm just sitting by the water. I love nature, love looking at water and trees, and just like nature, I feel like it grounds me.
