Minjee Lee wins fourth Greg Norman Medal after 2025 major-winning campaign

Minjee Lee's resurgent season, highlighted by winning a third major title, has been recognised with a record-extending fourth Greg Normal Medal.

World number four Lee held off Grace Kim to again claim Australian golf's highest individual honour at Tuesday's PGA Awards in Brisbane.

She previously won the Greg Norman Medal in 2018, 2021 and 2023.

Jason Day (2015, 2016) and Cameron Smith (2020, 2022) are the only other multiple Greg Norman Medal winners, which was introduced a decade ago.

In June, Lee became the fourth Australian to claim at least three major titles when she won the Women's PGA Championship in Texas.

Lee ended a 19-month title drought that saw her drop outside the world's top 20 for the first time in a decade.

Kim won her first major in a play-off for the Evian Championship a month after Lee's Texas victory.

"It has been an extremely satisfying year personally and for the fantastic team around me, and I am thrilled to receive the Greg Norman Medal," Lee said.

"Winning another major was obviously a highlight this year, but watching Grace win her first at Evian was certainly another moment to remember.

"I have no doubt she will be nominated for plenty more awards like this one for years to come."

Lee and Kim's victories marked the first time two Australians had won majors in the same year since 2006, when Karrie Webb and Geoff Ogilvy triumphed.

Last month, Lee and Kim teamed up with Hannah Green and Steph Kyriacou to win the biennial International Crown for Australia in South Korea.
