Program: Breakfast Wrap: Will a domestic gas reserve lower energy bills?

The federal government has announced gas producers on Australia's east coast will have to reserve a portion of gas they extract for local use.

According to the government, the scheme will put "downward pressure" on prices and shore up supply.
