Australia's biggest manufacturers have warned that the nation's east-coast gas market could shed thousands of jobs and derail the government's Future Made in Australia policy. While Western Australia already enjoys cheap gas because of its gas reservation policy, wholesale gas prices on the east cost have tripled in the past decade.
