Woman, 81, dies after unit fire in Doubleview in Perth's north
A fire ripped through a unit on Hancock Street in Doubleview.
An 81-year-old woman has died after being rushed to hospital following a fire at a home in Perth's north.
Firefighters, police and four St John Ambulance crews were called to the unit, which is part of a complex on Hancock Street in Doubleview, around 11:20am on Saturday.

The woman was found unresponsive and taken by ambulance to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital under priority one conditions but could not be revived, according to authorities.
The blaze damaged a room and filled the home with smoke before being extinguished by firefighters.
Police said the cause of the fire was not suspicious, and the Arson Squad would prepare a report for the coroner.
