An investigation is underway after shots were fired into the front door of a home on Bertone Close in Fairy Meadow at 2am.
A car was seen leaving the area shortly after the shots were fired.
Four adults inside the home at the time were unharmed.

Wollongong Police Superintendent Karen Cook said one occupant of the home was known to police.
"What the intent of the person [shooting] was at the time we can't be sure, but we'll investigate all lines of inquiry," she said.
"There shouldn't be any concern in the community, as this is a targeted shooting.
"If there is anyone who saw a dark-coloured vehicle acting suspiciously around that location early this morning or has any information for police, please contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers."
Superintendent Cook said police were pursuing multiple lines of inquiry, including whether the shooting was related to gang activity or the drug or tobacco trades.
Police would not confirm the exact number of shots fired and said they were unsure what type of gun was used.
Officers were seen entering and leaving the premises this morning and eight markers were seen on the front door.
Superintendent Cook said the shooting was "understandably quite frightening" for the residents inside the home.
She did not confirm whether they had been moved to a different location.
