A conspiracy theorist podcaster has appeared in court charged with murder over the death of a 30-year-old woman in Perth's eastern suburbs.
Tobias Marcus Nuttall, 32, appeared in the Midland Magistrates court today in custody, wearing a blue jumpsuit, with a beard and long hair.
Mr Nuttall is accused of killing the woman, who is believed to be known to him, in Bassendean on Wednesday.

In court, Mr Nuttall did not speak, other than to confirm his name.
No further information was given by prosecutors, and Mr Nuttall will remain in custody ahead of his next court appearance in September.
The WA Police Homicide Squad are investigating the woman's death, after emergency crews rushed to a house on Reid Street just after midday, finding a woman who had sustained critical injuries.

She was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital where she died.
Deep dive podcast
Mr Nuttall co-hosts an online podcast which is branded as a deep dive "into the realms of conspiracy, the occult, magic, spirituality, and everything clandestine."
"As two inquisitive minds on a quest for truth, they pull back the curtains of the mundane to reveal a world bubbling with mysteries, hidden agendas, and esoteric knowledge," the podcast description says.

On an episode posted on Wednesday night, after the alleged murder took place, Mr Nuttall's co-host excused his absence.
"There's nothing wrong with Toby," his co-host said.

"Toby had an appointment he had to come over to Sydney for and he was flying back from Sydney to Perth today."
"This is just to tell everybody we won't be doing one with Toby tonight, we'll have to do that tomorrow."
Mr Nuttall was charged with murder the following evening.
The charges were referenced by the co-host in a later episode.
“Toby has been charged …. with a very very serious offence over in Perth, something that happened on Wednesday," the co-host said.

Members of Mr Nuttall's family were in court for the hearing.
He will reappear in the Stirling Gardens Magistates Court on September 17.
